I mean both before cocktails were much of anything at all, and before I started being really interested in cocktails, I was interested in baseball.

And, though my Braves are merely good this year, they are not good enough for the playoffs. Alas.

But I still care. And I care about records. Which means I am reduced to caring about Bond’s 756th homerun ball. If you care too, you should visit the site of they guy who bought that ball. He is soliciting your vote on what he should do with it. He has some interesting ideas….


UPDATE: The results of the poll are in: The ball goes to Cooperstown… with a lovely and well-deserved asterisk burned indelibly into the surface.
