Maggi and I had lunch at Ted’s Montana Grill today.
Amazingly enough, right there on the table was a card with their secret recipe for a signature cocktail:


That’s right, can you imagine it: A restaurant has a secret recipe that should make a boring favorite into something amazing—and it just publishes said recipe on every table so that anyone, even a rival, could copy for themselves.
Sure, every Tom, Dick, and Harry thinks they can make a Jack and Coke. Hell, I always thought I had it down: 1 part Jack, 1 part Coca-Cola.
But these folks have made it a sublime art form. I mean, whoever thought of putting two parts of each ingredient, instead of just one.

Talk about kicking it up a notch!

No, no! Don’t thank me for passing on this kind of secret knowledge revealed. I’m a Blogger. It’s what I do.
