Basement Bar Design #6: My Own Basement Bar

Basement Bar Design #6: My Own Basement Bar

I haven’t put up a post in this series for a while. Sorry, but real life has gotten in the way. (I got that sentence from The Blogger’s Style Guide, Chapter One, “How to Make Excuses for Not Blogging”.
I’ve meant to go over what I exactly have for my own Basement Bar, and it was pointed out to me recently that I have an easy way to do so. I did a television advertisement for my own business (you can see it atop the right sidebar) a little while ago. We shot it in my basement bar, and it gives a good overview of what it looks like down there.

Very good to see your first class man cave, it puts your home bar series all into perspective.
My neighbor is an architect and has a house built on an almost identical floor plan (ca 1962). We discussed my home bar plans over lunch the other day, and by that evening I had a CAD rendering in my inbox. Since she already had my/her house on file, it was an easy project. We are going to build it along a living room wall that backs up to a bathroom, which will allow for water supply and drain for sinks, icemaker, dishwasher, etc., as we see fit. Thanks for talking me out of the ‘bucket plan’. I’ll keep you posted as things progress.
