Funny you should mention the pitcher. The handle is completely gone, and the spout of the pitcher is stained from all the tea we have made. We now only take the Mr. Coffee tea maker out to make tea, than right back into the cabinent hiding in shame. We’re going to go back to making tea the way you wrote about!

We also had the Mr. Coffee tea maker. It does work quite well. But it is hard to keep clean long-term, and takes up a lot of space.

How is the pitcher holding up on yours? Ours (many years ago) had a great pitcher, but it quickly stained.

I recently bought my wife a Mr. Coffee iced tea maker. We used to make ice tea the same way you describe above until we tried this tea maker. It is only about 20 bucks.
