Our mysteries are excellent for smaller events with 16-30 adults at a cocktail-type party setting. We use no actors. Your guests play all the roles; they even get to be the murderer and victim! Every participant has an active character, but there are no lines to read and players do not have to stand up and perform in front of others. We have a number of standard plots available, but we also write custom scenarios tailored to meet specific needs or desires. Please enquire.

We provide each guest a sealed package about a week to ten days before the party. It contains a custom-printed magazine with biographies and other background information on everyone's characters, as well as a dossier full of dirty little secrets about themselves and others. This whets everyone's appetite for mayhem, and gives them time to prepare at their leisure. At the party, each guest has one or more specific actions to perform and an agenda to persue. Once the party gets rolling, the murder itself occurs, and the guests have to contend with a murderer in their midst!

No one guest has all the information needed to solve the crime, so everyone must work together. Our parties encourage interaction, cameraderie, analytical thinking, but most especially laughter.

Our events typically last two to two and a half hours and are best suited for cocktail or other standup-type events. These are not dry or static parlor games. Your guests need the freedom to move and skulk around, and it is probably a good idea to have these events in a location where a lot of noise is a not problem....

To ensure that everything goes according to plan, we provide an in-person coordinator to guide everyone through the party. He or she makes any last minute adjustments to casting or plotlines in case a guest or two cancel at the last moment. The coordinator also makes sure everyone does their job where and when they should, and advises, cajoles, even goads guests into getting the most from the experience. You, the host, are free to enjoy yourself along with everyone else!
