Unwashed eggs are far safer than the US washed eggs. They aren’t washed to get rid of dangerous contaminates here. Eggs have a natural protection that is lost in the US when they are washed. This protective layer fights contamination and is why in other countries, eggs are not refrigerated. They don’t have to be. We are the only country in the world that does this. And it never happened for thousands of years of egg eating.

All our eggs now come straight from the farm and we can leave them out and they are good for 45+ days.

    Swanky,
Same here. Farm-fresh unpasteurized eggs are safer than all kinds of things—I use them in all kinds of drinks and have never once been sick. My being a gal with a very weak immune system should be an endorsement of farm-fresh eggs’ safety!
